While St. Louis HomeSchool P's victory against Winfield wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. St. Louis HomeSchool P had just enough and edged out Winfield 16-15. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

Rhyan Gard looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Ben Janssen was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in May of 2024. Vinny Tornatore also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

St. Louis HomeSchool P kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They got six more hits than Winfield's also-impressive total of 11.

St. Louis HomeSchool P's record now sits at 6-4. As for Winfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
