Basketball Recap: H-L-V Takes a Loss

H-L-V lost against North Mahaska back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The H-L-V Warriors took a hard 61-45 fall against the North Mahaska Warhawks. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Warhawks are ranked 75th).

H-L-V now has a losing record at 7-8. As for North Mahaska, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

H-L-V has already played their next contest, a 54-50 victory against B-G-M on the 31st. As for North Mahaska, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-62 win against Lynnville-Sully on the 31st.
