The Excel Christian Academy Spartans stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 84-56 win over Avon Park on the road. The win was nothing new for Excel Christian Academy as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Excel Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daquaylon Coffee, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Coffee is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of William Medina, who scored 16 points along with five assists.
Despite the loss, Avon Park saw an underclassman step up: Jatavis Fuse scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Karl Pierre-Louis, who scored 12 points.
Excel Christian Academy pushed their record up to 14-4 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.6 points per game. As for Avon Park, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Excel Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge the Saints at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. All Saints' Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season. As for Avon Park, they will be playing at home against the Terriers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
