Softball Recap: Wisdom Wins Going Away Against Madawaska

Wisdom never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Madawaska Owls with a sharp 20-0 victory. Considering the Pioneers have won four matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Wisdom pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Madawaska, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Wisdom has already played their next contest, a 10-8 defeat against Hodgdon on the 14th. As for Madawaska, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Washburn at 4:30 p.m. The Owls are facing the Beavers at the right time seeing as the Beavers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
