Holton wouldn't let Royal Valley keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Cael Frazier, Dillon, and Dillon picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, Perry-Lecompton/Bishop Seabury Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 18-12 to Silver Lake.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Eli Dean, who rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 38 receiving yards. Tristan Gorden handled things on the ground, rushing for 91 yards.
Perry-Lecompton/Bishop Seabury Academy's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Dean and Amos Brakenhoff.
