Charleston came tearing into Tuesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cossatot River Eagles a 4-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Charleston's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Cossatot River, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
