The Glendale Prep Academy Griffins can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They snuck past Phoenix Country Day with a 42-37 victory. The victory was just what Glendale Prep Academy needed coming off of a 64-35 loss in their prior game.
Jacob Krause continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Som, who scored five points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Glendale Prep Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Phoenix Country Day, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Phoenix Christian the next time they take the court. Glendale Prep Academy will head out to face Phoenix Christian at 8:55 p.m. on Wednesday, while Phoenix Country Day will host them at 8:55 p.m. on Thursday.
