Leading E.L. Haynes to victory were Jency Beatriz and Juan Creamer. Beatriz scored 11 points, while Creamer scored 15 points. Victor Bruce Jr was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Thurgood Marshall Academy's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7. As for E.L. Haynes, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-15.
