The White River Valley Wolverines will head out on the road to face off against the Lighthouse Christian Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (White River Valley is ranked 390th, while Lighthouse Christian Academy is ranked 389th).
Last Saturday, things could have been worse for White River Valley, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-35 loss to Wood Memorial. White River Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Lighthouse Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 60-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Crothersville. Lighthouse Christian Academy has not had much luck with Crothersville recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Brock Banks put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The match was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Mcadams, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
White River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lighthouse Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
White River Valley came up short against Lighthouse Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 60-55. Thankfully for White River Valley, Coda Snyder (who scored 29 points along with six rebounds and four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
