Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Natalia Aranda stepped things up a notch to give St. Genevieve the 'W'. Nobody could stop Aranda as she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Aranda and St. Genevieve will host La Salle at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. La Salle will enter the matchup having just beaten St. Mary's Academy, so St. Genevieve will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
