Walden Grove saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Desert View Jaguars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Wolves.
Angel Armenta made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Armenta was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
