Santiago scaled the state rankings by moving to 931 from 958 this week, the biggest jump in Garden Grove. The Cavaliers climbed the ranks as a result of beating Santa Ana 27-19.
Los Amigos and Costa Mesa played the most contested game in the league this week, with Los Amigos eventually emerging with a 20-14 victory. Anthony Magana threw for 143 yards and ran for 34 yards during the win.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Santiago's Ulysses Cruz and Franklin San Nicolas have proven to be a lethal combination. Cruz has thrown for 376 yards this season, while San Nicolas, a 5-foot-1 receiver, has 11 catches for 229 yards. The Lobos' Olvera leads the league in rushing yards with 272.
La Quinta fell to University 35-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Gilbert Napoles was a bright spot for the Aztecs, as he threw for 69 yards and ran for 11 yards in the defeat.
