Lake Forest proved they can win big  on Saturday (they won by seven) and  on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  7-5  victory over the Mundelein Mustangs.  Nate Brezak tossed a big game,   striking out nine batters over  6.1 innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. Those  nine  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high.
