Kennedie Nelson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 11 batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.
