Softball Recap: Amory Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Amory lost to Smithville back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. Amory came out on top in a nail-biter against Smithville, sneaking past 8-7. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one run.

Amory's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6. As for Smithville, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.

Amory didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Hatley on the 22nd. Smithville has also already played their next contest (against Aberdeen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
