1A-1 Region IV District 13 recap November 5, 2013
Thorndale extended the longest winning streak in 1A-1 Region IV District 13 this week by beating Thrall, 65-3. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Weimar moved up to 653 from 698 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Wildcats climbed the ranks as a result of topping Holland 24-0.
Seth Spinn of the the Hornets is just 54 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Spinn has rushed for 946 yards on 85 carries so far this year.
Two of the top teams in the league will go toe-to-toe this week when Holland takes on Brent Brevard's team. Brad Talbert's team's offense has recorded 241 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Bulldogs have permitted only 97 on the year.
The Hornets are in third place, while Thorndale is in first place.
The Tigers fell to the Bulldogs 65-3 last week, the largest margin of any game.
