Kimball/White Lake extended the longest winning streak in 9-Man Freelance (9 Man) this week by beating Corsica/Stickney, 38-14. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Kiotes.
Plankinton made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,002 from 1,086. The advance stemmed from a 18-6 victory over Menno last week.
Brady London was the best wideout in the league this week as Colome defeated Sunshine Bible Academy. London tallied one reception for 71 yards.
Terrance Kinzer provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Cowboys bested the Crusaders. He completed one pass for 71 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 130 yards.
Andrew Odden was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 26 carries, he ran for 150 yards as Colome topped Sunshine Bible Academy.
Herman Fennell III put up the best numbers through the air as Stanley County fell to Philip. He finished with seven completions for 114 yards and one touchdown. Fennell III's favorite target this week was Brady Washechek, who caught two passes for 57 yards.
The Buffalos' Fennell III and Washechek have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 9-Man Freelance (9 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Fennell III has thrown for 525 yards this season, while Washechek, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 11 catches for 306 yards. Odden from Kevin Keiser's team leads the league in rushing with 796 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Wolves take on Marion. As it stands, Menno is in ninth, while the Bears are in third.
