Grand River Academy found their leader in underclassman Filip Runjo, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. Runjo is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 18 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Joseph Quartey, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and four steals.
Grand River Academy pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.3 points. As for Horizon Science Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
