Mason Mccarty Delivers Best Performance of Season
Mason Mccarty produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Crawfordsville to the win on Friday. Mccarty rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 74 yards and two touchdowns. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.
Crawfordsville moved to 3-6 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. Mccarty will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Cascade on Friday.

Braeden Hites Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Crawfordsville was led to victory by Braeden Hites, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hites rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.
Unfortunately for Frankfort, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Hites. When Hites last faced the Hot Dogs back in October of 2023, he rushed for 91 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.

Rolando Castillo Turns in Another Game with at Least 105 Rushing Yards
Rolando Castillo continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fourth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 105 rushing yards. He made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Frankfort is on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9. Castillo and Frankfort will face off against Huntington North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sutton Fulwider and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
Sutton Fulwider's big game helped extend Danville's winning streak to eight on Friday. Nobody could stop Fulwider as he made five total tackles and defended two passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception.
Danville's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Fulwider and Danville will venture away from home to square off against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Malachi Walden Dazzles in Tri-West Hendricks Win
Rounding off our Top Five is Malachi Walden of Tri-West Hendricks. Walden threw for 204 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes, and also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown. He has become a key player for Tri-West Hendricks: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
Unfortunately for Southmont, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Walden. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Walden saw the Mounties), he rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.
