The Ansonia Tigers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Lockland 52-7 at home. Considering Ansonia has won eight matches by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Ansonia's win was their 12th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 11-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.9 points per game. As for Lockland, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Ansonia will be playing at home against Mechanicsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mechanicsburg will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. Lockland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
