Champlin Park suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Monday. They were beaten by Providence Academy 88-40. While losing is never fun, Champlin Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while Providence Academy is ranked third).
Meanwhile, Rogers' 20-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 66-41 walloping at the hands of Centennial on Friday.
Champlin Park has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Rogers, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
