Crane lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Southwest, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's matchup. The Pirates were the clear victors by a 17-5 margin over the Trojans on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Crane now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Southwest, they dropped their record down to 6-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crane will square off against Sparta at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southwest, they will take on Jasper at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
