The PAL Academy Bulls will head out on the road to face off against the Excelsior Charter Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. PAL Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 82-17, which was the final score in PAL Academy's tilt against Silver Valley on Tuesday. PAL Academy has not had much luck with Silver Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Excelsior Charter scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to Apple Valley Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 84-29 victory on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-16.
PAL Academy bumped their record down to 0-7 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.0 points per game. As for Excelsior Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.
PAL Academy took a serious blow against Excelsior Charter in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 71-28. Can PAL Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
