This season hasn't been kind to the Furr Brahmans, who are still winless after their 13th contest. They were beaten by Washington 77-18 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Furr has suffered since November 28, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Washington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Danaya Pope, who scored 21 points. Pope is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games she's played. Kendyl Harvey was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Furr's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Washington, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.
Furr on the road again on Wednesday and play against Worthing at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Washington, they will face off against Yates at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Yates is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
