After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Non Varsity Opponent, the Boston Trinity Academy Lions were happy to have found some success on Friday. They strolled past Marvelwood with points to spare, taking the game 81-63. With that victory, Boston Trinity Academy brought their scoring average up to 53 points per game.
Leading Boston Trinity Academy to victory were Gabe Glover and Wellbi Perez-Valera. Glover dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds, while Perez-Valera dropped a double-double on 36 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Glover has scored at least 25% of Boston Trinity Academy's points. Kyle Cameron Martin was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
The victory got Boston Trinity Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Marvelwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Boston Trinity Academy will take on Forman at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. Marvelwood will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oakwood Friends at 2:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
