Norfolk Christian simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Nandua 70-20 at home. With Norfolk Christian ahead 53-4 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Norfolk Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Abuna Ruop, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. That makes it two consecutive games in which Ruop has scored at least 25% of Norfolk Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Christal Harris, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals.
Norfolk Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Nandua, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Norfolk Christian will take on North Point at 5:40 p.m. on Friday. As for Nandua, they will look to defend their home court on December 14th against Broadwater Academy at 5:30 p.m.
