The Kwigillingok Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Eek as Kwigillingok made off with a 59-39 win. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
It was another big night for Jasmine Andrew, who scored 36 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Kwigillingok's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nikkita Anaver, who scored 11 points.
Kwigillingok's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Eek, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Kongiganak the next time they take the court. Kwigillingok will host Kongiganak at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while Eek will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
