That makes it two consecutive games in which Monasch has scored at least 25% of Denver Academy's points. Luc Stanley was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cripple Creek-Victor was fully in charge on Saturday, breezing past Deer Trail 59-23 at home. With Cripple Creek-Victor ahead 35-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
The victory got Denver Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.
Denver Academy beat Cripple Creek-Victor 38-25 in their previous meeting back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Denver Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
