St. John's Christian Academy Gets a Boost from Reichley in 28-27 Victory
Starting off the list is St. John's Christian Academy's Dor Reichley, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Reichley rushed for 209 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 89-yard run.
For the season, Reichley has averaged 16.4 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to nine.

Assir Best Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Bethesda Academy got the W thanks in part to Assir Best playing the best football he has all season. Best rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
Bethesda Academy's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Best and Bethesda Academy will take on Dillon Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Colby Richardson and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Pee Dee Academy picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Colby Richardson. Richardson was dynamite, throwing for 228 yards and two touchdowns while completing 86.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 46 yards and a touchdown.
Pee Dee Academy pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Richardson and Pee Dee Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bethesda Academy at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.

Miles Trussell Turns in Another Game with at Least 119 Receiving Yards
On Friday, Pee Dee Academy got the W thanks in part to Miles Trussell playing the best football he has all season. Trussell's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 119 receiving yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 53 yards.
For the season, Trussell has caught 10 touchdowns while averaging 110.1 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 38.86 receiving yards per game.

Jordan Cheever Goes Supernova in Bethesda Academy Win
Bethesda Academy picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jordan Cheever. Cheever turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 104 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 55 yards.
For the year, Cheever has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 72.8 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown.
