After flying high against Dansville  last Thursday, Geneseo came back down to earth. The Blue Devils fell  3-1 to the Letchworth Legends on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
 Geneseo started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 25-20,  25-22.
 Adi Donegan paced Geneseo's offense, picking up ten kills. Donegan got some help from  Kendall LaFleur and her 18 assists. Finally,  Donegan was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.
Geneseo has  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record  this season. As for Letchworth, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.
As of now, neither Geneseo nor the Legends have any future games scheduled.
