Woodmere Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their contest on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 107-18 win over Kew Forest. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Woodmere Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Despite the loss, Kew Forest saw an underclassman step up: Nosa Uzamere scored 11 points.
Woodmere Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Kew Forest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
Woodmere Academy will head out on the road to face off against Stuart Hall at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. As for Kew Forest, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Waldorf at 5:00 p.m.
