The Coral Glades Jaguars waltzed into Monday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Fort Lauderdale with points to spare, taking the game 63-47. This was payback for Coral Glades, who suffered a 64-52 loss the last time these two teams met.
Tahir Bond was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with 6 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Burrowes, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Coral Glades' victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Fort Lauderdale, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Coral Glades won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Cooper City at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. Cooper City will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while Coral Glades is ranked 145th). As for Fort Lauderdale, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Coral Springs at 7:30 p.m.
