San Diego was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as El Camino apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.
El Camino got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandon Boone out in front who scored 20 points. The game was Boone's third in a row with at least ten points. Logan Ardent was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
San Diego now has a losing record at 1-2. As for El Camino, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
San Diego is on the road again on Saturday and play against Temecula Valley. As for El Camino, they will take on Vista at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday. Vista presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Camino in California (Vista is ranked 201st, while El Camino is ranked 417th).
