Twin Valley South's and Preble Shawnee's contest on Thursday was close at halftime, but Twin Valley South turned on the heat in the second half with 36 points. The Twin Valley South Panthers blew past the Preble Shawnee Arrows 59-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Panthers have posted since December 7, 2024.

Preble Shawnee's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josie Mondello-Garrett, who posted seven points and four steals. Mondello-Garrett is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Twin Valley South's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Preble Shawnee, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Tri-County North will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Twin Valley South surely won't give up without a fight. As for Preble Shawnee, they will welcome Oakwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Oakwood's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
