Craig Ransome ran for four touchdowns to lift
Penns Grove (Carneys Point, N.J.) to a 44-0 beat over Pitman (N.J.). Thanks to the stand out performance the sophomore now has eight touchdowns on the season.
After taking the lead on a Ransome touchdown run in the second quarter, the Red Devils were up 14-0 at the half.
Penns Grove grew its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. PG scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Marcus Hill.
Even though the Carneys Point school led by 28 points at the start of the fourth quarter, it didn't let up, scoring 16 in the quarter.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Red Devils, who were coming off a 9-0 defeat at the hands of Woodstown in its previous game.
