After losing to Katy Taylor the last time they met, Clear Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mustangs on Saturday.

Laine Montgomery paced Clear Creek's offense, picking up six kills. Montgomery got some help from Camdyn Cole and her 20 assists. Brooke Fowler controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Clear Creek has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. As for Katy Taylor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-13.

Looking ahead, Clear Creek will be taking part in a tournament against Tomball Memorial at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Katy Taylor, they will host Katy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
