The Bermudian Springs Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Bermudian Springs knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Greencastle-Antrim likes a good challenge.
On Wednesday, Bermudian Springs got the win against Hanover by a conclusive 19-4. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Nighthawks: they've now won four in a row.

Dylan Hubbard was a standout: he scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Nate Keller was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.
Bermudian Springs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .583 or higher in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Greencastle-Antrim fell victim to James Buchanan and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 2-0. The loss put an end to the Blue Devils' undefeated start to the season.
Jaxson Bostick was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
Bermudian Springs pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Greencastle-Antrim, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
Bermudian Springs' speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's contest. Bermudian Springs has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.2 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Greencastle-Antrim, though, as they've been averaging only 0.7 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Bermudian Springs continue to outrun the ball?
Bermudian Springs skirted past Greencastle-Antrim 2-0 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Will Bermudian Springs repeat their success, or does Greencastle-Antrim has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
