Basketball Recap: North Plainfield Comes Up Short at Home Against Edison

North Plainfield unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 59-42 bruising from the Edison Eagles on Wednesday. The Canucks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

North Plainfield will take on Bridgewater-Raritan in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Edison, they will head out to challenge South Brunswick at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
