After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Union County, the Dixie County Bears were happy to have found some success on Friday. They didn't even let North Florida Educational Institute onto the board and left with a 12-0 win.
Dixie County's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for North Florida Educational Institute, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Dixie County will head out on the road to face off against Pahokee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pahokee presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dixie County in Florida (Pahokee is ranked 139th, while Dixie County is ranked 316th). North Florida Educational Institute does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
