Meanwhile, Saratoga Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 56-28 loss at the hands of Academy of the Holy Names. While losing is never fun, the Blue Streaks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while Academy of the Holy Names are ranked 53rd).
Saratoga Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Guilderland, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6.
