Ursuline Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: St. Ursula Academy, who was ranked 11th at the time (Ursuline Academy was ranked ninth). The Lions came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.
Ursuline Academy got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 10-25, 30-28, 25-20.

Ursuline Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Mercy McAuley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.
