The Bibb County Choctaws scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat University Charter 74-32 on the road. That 74-32 margin sets a new team best for Bibb County this season.
Several Trail Blazers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andrez Bell, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jaylan Austin, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Bibb County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for University Charter, they bumped their record down to 2-12 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bibb County will take on Sipsey Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University Charter, they will play host again and welcome Linden, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Linden is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
