Eastside was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in Northeast Corner. The Blazers defeated Fremont 57-15 earlier in the week.
Angola and Prairie Heights played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Angola eventually emerging with a 20-19 victory.
Prairie Heights' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kyler West has thrown for 48 yards and one touchdown this season, while Joey Barry has one catches for 30 yards. Bobbi Blum leads the league in rushing with 855 yards.
A big matchup in Northeast Corner this week will be when Fairfield takes on Churubusco. The Falcons are currently in second, while the Eagles are in third.
