Grant County has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grant County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 188 points over their last three matchups.
Last Friday, Grant County strolled past Harrison County with points to spare, taking the game 55-37.
Meanwhile, Ashley Ridge lost to Upper St. Clair at home by a decisive 49-32 margin on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ashley Ridge has scored all season.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Clayton Everett and
Jordan Davis, who each put up eight points. Davis also led the team in rebounds with five.
Grant County now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Ashley Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
