Wayland Gruber was his usual excellent self, rushing for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Gruber hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for five straight games. Connor Hartzog was another key contributor, rushing for 52 yards and two touchdowns.
Dorchester Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points per game. As for Calhoun Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
