The Pleasant Hill Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Greenfield/Northwestern 79-42. Pleasant Hill has struggled against Greenfield/Northwestern recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Greenfield/Northwestern to victory were Dylan Pembrook and Garrett Costello. Pembrook scored 17 points, while Costello scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Pembrook scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Talon Albrecht, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Pleasant Hill has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Greenfield/Northwestern, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant Hill will face off against Barry Western at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenfield/Northwestern's road trip will continue as they head out to face Staunton at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
