Bainbridge moved up to 62 from 89 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AAAAA Region 1. The Bearcats climbed the ranks as a result of besting Dothan 34-7.
Harris County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Justin Wright has thrown for 1402 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while DiQuan Roberts has 25 catches for 451 yards. Esaias Chapman leads the league in rushing with 1499 yards.
Bainbridge's Terry Lewis is a mere 35 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. Lewis has rushed for 965 yards on 109 carries so far this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Bearcats take on the Trojans. At the moment, Bainbridge is in third, while Lee County is in second.
The Trojans led AAAAA Region 1 in scoring this week after putting up 70 points on Northside.
