Basketball Recap: Terry Skates Past Pearl River Central with Ease

Terry won the last time they faced Pearl River Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Terry Bulldogs claimed a resounding 59-15 victory over the Pearl River Central Blue Devils. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 40 points or more this season.

Leading Terry to victory were Maleah Young and Madison Jones. Young posted 17 points in addition to seven steals and five boards, while Jones almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Jones is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Zion Nelson, who had eight points and three steals.

Terry smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Terry's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Pearl River Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Terry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-27 victory against Forest Hill on the 13th. As for Pearl River Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 48-45 win against Jim Hill on the 13th.
