Football Recap: Notre Dame Extends Winning Streak to Four

Notre Dame entered their tilt with Herkimer on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 22-16 W against the Magicians. That's more bragging rights for the Jugglers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Owen Bougourd threw for 185 yards on only 17 passes. On the ground, Clyde Taylor rushed for 45 yards.

Notre Dame now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Herkimer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Notre Dame is set to challenge their familiar foe Mt. Markham at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. Meanwhile, Herkimer will face off against rival Dolgeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
