The Tioga Tigers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Delaware Academy 55-7 on the road. Considering Tioga has won ten contests by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Tioga's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ousmane Duncanson, who rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Bellis, who threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
Delaware Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tanner Bracchy, who picked up 81 receiving yards, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Tioga's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Delaware Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.
Tioga will head out on the road to face off against Dolgeville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Dolgeville is on a five-game streak of home wins, Tioga a ten-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Delaware Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
